- Beavers are vegetarians they eat; clover, raspberries, bark, and their favourite food is water lilly.
- Beavers live about 30 years in captivity but only live about 10 years in the wild. Baby beavers are called kittens or pups.
- They fall trees to build a dam. Once there was over 60 million beavers in North America.
- Beavers can not see well but they have excellent scent senses.
